WATER GARDEN OPEN DAYS  - The Water Garden will be open this season for the benefit of the following charities on the Sundays shown below. Members of the John Lewis Partnership and anyone in their company may visit the Garden free of charge on the second Sunday of the month (April – September) and will be asked to show their shopping discount cards. Members of the three local churches will provide teas at Longstock Park Nursery on these Sundays. Only registered Assistance Dogs will be admitted to the garden and care should be taken to leave no litter.

RHS  National Plant Collections- Buddlejas, Clematis Viticella and Penstemons
This event will include a tour of  the National Collections of Buddlejas, Clematis Viticella and Penstemons and will  also include tips on how to prune, feed , water and extend their flowering season.
RHS Members £12.95, non members £15.95
Tea, coffee, and biscuits included in the ticket price. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment on 01264 810894

24th & 25th July 2010    10.00am-4.00pm
Butterflies and Buddlejas Event
This event will be led by the Hampshire and I.O.W  branch for Butterfly Conservation, and will include a Children’s  Educational Nature Trail  within our Arboretum,  there will also be extensive information  available on butterflies
In addition, Peter Moore, Assistant Manager of the nursery, will be leading tours of the National Collection of Buddlejas
More details of this event will be posted as soon as they are available. There will be no admission charge for this event, but donations will be sought on the day in aid of the Butterfly Conservation Group
